Provides certification for rehabilitation suppliers.

2 Georgia Tech Workplace Accommodations and Home Modifications Certificate

Georgia Tech's Professional Education Department has developed a certificate entitled "Workplace Accommodations and Home Modifications" designed to teach individuals to create solutions that facilitate greater independence for people with disabilities and aging adults. Courses are designed by the Center for Assistive Technology & Environmental Access (CATEA). Currently the certificate is made up of 4 required and 2 elective courses.

Fundamental Strategies for Workplace Accommodations and Home Modifications
Home Modifications: Processes and Tools
Workplace Accommodations: Processes and Tools

Elective Courses:
Accessibility: Making Your Web Site Usable for All
Aging in Place / Livable Communities
Enabling Computer Access

Courses can be taken individually or as part of the certificate. Courses are offered in both the spring and fall of this year.
