The AT Marketplace is a user-driven database with entry, edit, delete, and search capabilities. The AT marketplace program is designed to facilitate transactions between Louisiana residents and is not for the sale or procurement of equipment by vendors or distributors. LATAN does not profit from any of the devices listed for sale.
The AT Marketplace does not warrant the condition or terms of sale of any device offered for reutilization by an existing owner or borrower under the AT Program. LATAN shall not be liable for any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses (including but not limited to settlements, judgements, court costs, and reasonable attorney’s fees), fines, and penalties arising out of any actual or alleged injury, loss, or damage of any nature whatsoever in connection with the sale or use of any device purchased or sold under the AT Marketplace. It shall be the responsibility of the seller to provide accurate and detailed information about the devices’ specifications and condition to any buyer. The AT Marketplace is solely designed to serve as an information-sharing communication channel.
LATAN reserves the right to edit or refuse listings based on the device, device description, and condition. Listings must be refreshed every 90 days. If the listing has not been updated, it will be automatically removed. Contact information is coded for exchange use only and no personal information will be listed. We ask that devices being listed for sale are listed for no more than half of the original selling price as a courtesy to users interested in the devices. Also if a device was provided to you through LATAN or your insurance company, we ask that those items be listed free of charge.
