Licensed Occupational Therapist

We’re looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist willing to travel throughout Louisiana.

Job duties:

  • Conduct environmental and mobility assessments and implement those services throughout Louisiana.
  • Recommend special equipment to assist patients with activities of daily living.
  • Provide home and workplace environmental alterations (i.e. adjustments for wheelchair access, special crutches, etc.)
  • Perform a results assessment to ensure that the equipment/devices are done timely and modifications have been completed to best service the patient.
  • Maintain accurate records of services rendered and ensure they are being provided in a timely manner for billing/accounting purposes.
  • Connects patients/consumers to LATAN resources on an as needed basis so that they’re aware of the different programs LATAN offers to serve their needs.
  • Engages with the Device Demonstration Program.
  • Provides, assists and engages in public awareness and marketing of AT services throughout the community on an as needed basis.
  • Participates, develops, plans and implements clinical policies and procedures with LATAN’s President & CEO
  • Engages with the Dept. of Health and other agencies to advise on the approval of rehabilitative service accommodations.

MUST be licensed.

Licensed Physical Therapist

We’re looking for a licensed Physical Therapist willing to travel throughout Louisiana.

  • Examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability
  • Engages with the Device Demonstration Program.
  • Provides, assists, and engages in public awareness and marketing of AT services throughout the community on an as needed basis.
  • Participates, develops, plans and implements clinical policies and procedures with LATAN’s President & CEO
  • Engages with the Dept. of Health and other agencies to advise on the approval of rehabilitative service accommodations.
